Joint Symposia on Optics

OSJOSAOSK.jpg

Dates:  Tuesday, 30 October - Wednesday, 31 October 2018

Location: Tokyo Bunkyo School Building , University of Tsukuba, Tokyo, Japan

In last two years, The Optical Society of Japan (OSJ) and The Optical Society (OSA) organized joint symposia in recognition of their strong partnership.  The symposia are designed to leverage the relationship between OSA, OSJ, and with the addition of the  Optical Society of Korea (OSK) in 2018, will provide a joint international forum for exchange.  The annual joint symposia will rotate between OPJ and OSK meetings.

The two topic tracks for 2018 are Applied Optics and Optical Science, which will explore the latest advances of the technologies.

The goal of the English-language symposia is to create a global forum for leading researchers to present their latest work and to hear the most up-to-date results in scientific subjects and related new technologies in the fields of Applied Optics and Optical Science. The topics of two fields are described below.

We hope that this joint endeavor will provide scientific and professional networking as well as scientific inspiration to the attendees.

Symposia Chair:
Prof. Osamu Matoba, Kobe University, Japan
Prof. Takashige Omatsu, Chiba University, Japan
Prof. Byoungho Lee, Seoul National University, Korea

Organized by: The Optical Society of Japan (OSJ), The Optical Society (OSA), The Optical Society of Korea (OSK)
