OSJ - OSA Joint Symposia

OSJ - OSA Joint Symposia on Plasmonics and Digital Photonics

Dates:  Sunday, 30 October - Monday, 31 October 2016

The Optical Society of Japan (OSJ) and The Optical Society (OSA) are organizing joint symposia in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of OSA and in recognition of the strong partnership between OSA and OSJ. The sessions will immediately precede Optics and Photonics Japan 2016 (OPJ2016) and will explore the latest advances in the fields of plasmonics and digital photonics.

The goal is to create a global forum for leading researchers to present their latest work and to hear the most up-to-date results in scientific subjects and related new technologies in the field of plasmonics and digital photonics.

We hope that this symposium will provide scientific and professional networking as well as scientific inspiration to the attendees.

Symposia Chair:
Prof. Takashige Omatsu, Chiba University, Japan

Plasmonics Co-Chairs:
Prof. Satoshi Ashihara, The University of Tokyo, Japan
Prof. Judith Dawes, Macquarie University, Australia

Digital Photonics Co-Chairs:
Prof. Bahram Javidi, University of Connecticut, USA
Prof. Osamu Matoba, Kobe University, Japan

Organized by: The Optical Society of Japan (OSJ) and The Optical Society (OSA)
